My name is Claire and I am a qualified counsellor providing face to face, outdoor and online therapy in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

I know firsthand how overwhelming life can become. My path into counselling was born from my own personal experiences, during a time when I was juggling intense emotions, a demanding career, young children, challenging co-parenting dynamics, and financial stress.

Counselling offered me a safe, non-judgmental space to heal and reconnect with myself and those around me. It became a lifeline, allowing me to work through my past and shape a more authentic future.

As a BACP and MNCPS counsellor in Shrewsbury, I draw from a variety of therapeutic methods, rooted in Person-Centred therapy. My approach also includes mind-body techniques, such as grounding and somatic therapies, helping you find calm and resilience. Together, we’ll create a therapeutic journey that’s uniquely tailored to your needs, where you feel seen, heard, and supported.

I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet your unique needs and help you move toward your goals. Together, we’ll develop new coping strategies, shift limiting patterns, and create space for self-repair, self-discovery, and self-compassion. My aim is to help you uncover your own solutions by recognising your inner strengths and nurturing your emotional well-being.

In a safe, confidential environment, you’ll have the opportunity to reflect on your challenges with someone outside your daily life. This isn’t about receiving advice or quick fixes but about empowering you to embrace change on your terms.

We’ll work collaboratively to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, deepening your understanding of yourself. Through this process, you can find new perspectives, healing, and growth. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, accepted, and truly understood within a compassionate, non-judgmental space designed for your healing and transformation.

Fees & location

Face-to-face and online sessions last 50 minutes.

Face-to-face walk and talk therapy in Shrewsbury and Shropshire last 60 minutes.

Should you wish to have longer sessions, this can be arranged and agreed.


An initial free discovery call can be booked for 15 minutes for us to see if we could work well together.


£50 per session


I offer a limited number of concession spaces at reduced rates for those in need or those studying counselling or psychotherapy. If you are interested in my current concession availability please do let me know, I am happy to discuss.

How I work

Explore face-to-face counselling in Shrewsbury at The Roy Fletcher Centre or using walk and talk therapy outdoors in Shropshire. I also offer online sessions at a time convenient for you.

We might include talking about life events (past, present, future), feelings, emotions, relationships, ways of thinking and patterns of behaviour. It can be a space to look at coping strategies, relaxation techniques or general tools to help you feel more in control of yourself and your life.


Therapy can be helpful when you’re living with painful emotions, facing difficult decisions or trying to improve/change relationships. It can help you to develop a better understanding of yourself and others.


Walk and talk outdoor therapy can use the surroundings to enhance our therapeutic engagement and use nature to ground all 5 senses
